INTRODUCTION (Profile of club)
CHUNMUN CLUB, as its name suggests, is a club for girls at Ambala. It was established on 15 Aug. 1999 by PLANTATION OF TREES & Children Presentation on 50th Independence day’Celebrations with the joint  sincere efforts of Mr Ashok Sharma & Mr Manmohan Jain with the aim to helps children to develop interest & confidence in art & culture. It gives an opportunity to perform on stage.

It is natural that every child is God gifted in one or the other field. But some time either due to lack of opportunity or shyness the child does not comes forward to show her performance before others. So in order to provide stage confidence and  opportunity on different occasions, the Club not only trains  but also organizes different programs off and on to help them .
In lieu the Club does not charge any membership or training fees.

Girls in the age- group of 5- 15 years are enrolled in the club. Besides Folk and Western dance they are also trained in Kathak, Bharanatyam, Painting. English Speaking Courses  and in other Personality Development Programs. . Students of such a tender  age are highly expressive & make them capable of  facing the audience with confidence . In order to make them all rounders and to improve   G.K., The Club has also organized Inter School Quiz Contest in various schools participate. On the concluding all the trainees present a show before parents and distinguished guests.

The Club celebrates different Festivals and becomes more active:-

• When it organizes Annual Free Dance Workshop for one month during summer vacations for both boys & girls in the age group of  5 – 15 every year in which all most  100 to 150 children from different schools participate

The club also organizes different programs for disabled, blinds, Orphns & senior citizens.
 
Through the efforts of the club the children have also been able to interact with

The club organize Educational Tours and

• visited Tribune (Chandigarh),
• The Indian Express (Chandigarh),
• Punjab Kesri (Ambala), Dainik Bhaskar ( Ambala),
• Amar Ujala (Ambala),
• Rock Garden  (Chandigarh) and helped the children to gain knowledge.

THE CLUB TRAINS THE CHILDRENS AND MAKE THEM ALL ROUNDERS
